Terms & Conditions

Booking Policy:

  • At least 50% of the total tour Fees is required to confirm the tour booking.
  • The remaining balance of the total tour Fees must be paid at least 02(two) days before the departure date.
  • Failure to pay the remaining balance within the specified time frame may result in the cancellation of the reservation and forfeiture of the deposit.
  • Changes to the reservation, such as altering the departure date or cabin type, are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • Requests for changes must be made at least 14 (fourteen) days before the departure date.

 

Cancellation Policy:

  • To cancel any tour, an email has to be sent to (info@ruhanee.com) mentioning the tour booking ID and details about the cancellation.
  • Travelers are responsible for notifying Ruhanee Shipping Lines for any cancellations as soon as possible.
  • The email acts as the final application for cancellation. Phone calls to the hotline or contacting any team member of Ruhanee Shipping Lines directly will not be considered as cancellation requests.
  • The time of sending the email will be considered as the time of cancellation.
  • In case of exceptional circumstances, such as acts of God, natural disasters, or mandatory government closures, we may offer alternative dates for the tour or a full refund, at our discretion.
  • If a tour is cancelled by Ruhanee Shipping Lines due to unforeseen circumstances, travelers will be entitled to a full refund of the tour fee.
  • This policy is subject to change without prior notice. Please refer to the website of Ruhanee Shipping Lines for the most up-to-date information.
  • Tours booked for blackout dates, government holidays, and festival periods are non-refundable and non-cancellable.
  • This cancellation policy may not be applicable in case of national emergency/ lockdown/ political unrest/ natural disasters etc.
  • This policy is applicable to all tour cancellations, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

Refund Policy:

  • 80% of the booking money will be refunded if the booking is cancelled more than 15 (fifteen) days before the departure date.
  • 50% of the booking money will be refunded if the booking is cancelled between 10 (ten) to 15 (fifteen) days before the departure date.
  • 30% of the booking money will be refunded if the booking is cancelled between 05 (five) to 10 (ten) days before the departure date.
  • “NO” Refund will be provided if the booking is cancelled less than 05 (five) days before the departure date.
  • All Refund will be processed within 14 (fourteen) business days from the date of cancellation or change request.
  • All Refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

Child Policy:

  • No fee will be needed for children below the age of five (05) years old. No separate bed/seat will be provided in case of accommodation.
  • 50% fee will be needed for any child between the age of five (05) and nine (09) years old.
  • Full amount of tour fees will be needed for anyone above nine (09) years old. 

Smoking Policy:

  • Smoking is prohibited in all the enclosed areas within the Ship without exception. This includes guest units, conference and meeting units, hallways, stairs, restrooms, lobby areas, and all other enclosed facilities and areas.
  • Smoking is only allowed at designated smoking areas and all smoking waste must be disposed of.  
  • In case of smoking in a non-smoking area, a surcharge of BDT 10,000/- will be applied upon checkout.

Fire Safety Policy:

  • The Ship is equipped with fire extinguishers in every unit, along with a fire hose water tank.
  • In the unlikely event of a fire, guests are requested to follow the instructions of the Ship staff to safely evacuate the premises.

Lost and Found Policy:

  • Should any personal belongings of any guest is lost while staying at the Ship, if recovered, the item will be recorded as ‘found’.
  • The Ship management will keep detailed records of all ‘found’ items and will make reasonable effort to contact the guest.
  • The Ship management may return any ‘found’ items by courier at the owner’s expense upon request.
  • All ‘found’ items will be placed in the Lost & Found store/safe box of the Ship for ninety (90) days.
  • Any items, which are not claimed within ninety (90) days, will be donated to a local charity or discarded.

Damage Policy:

  • The guest will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the Ship property caused by themselves, their guests, or any person for whom they are responsible. 
  • The Ship management reserves the right and the guests hereby authorize the ship management to charge their credit or debit card for any damage incurred to their unit/room or any part of the ship during the period of their stay in the ship.

Disturbance Policy:

  • The disturbance policy at Ruhani Shipping Lines is a set of rules and regulations that are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
  • The policy prohibits any disruptive or unacceptable behavior that may interfere with the peace and tranquility of other guests, including loud music, shouting, and other excessive noise.
  • If any guest is found to be in violation of the disturbance policy, the concerned guest will be warned and given an opportunity to correct his/her behavior.
  • If the behavior persists, the guest may be asked to leave the premises without a refund.
  • In extreme cases where the safety of other guests or staff is at risk, the authorities may be called.
  • The disturbance policy must be communicated to all guests upon check-in and is strictly enforced to maintain a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in the ship.
  • This policy outlines the steps that need to be taken to prevent or address any disturbances and the consequences for individuals who violate the policy.
